Almost a week after her awful experience at the Consulate, my 81-year-old mother is finding it painful to walk. She suffers from osteoporosis, and she is now paying the price of hours of waiting at the Consulate last March 9. Being confined in an uncomfortable chair for several hours has worsened her condition.
Whereas before it did not bother her all that much, now she is feeling the pain more, making her unable to walk after being on her feet only a few minutes. Despite seeing a chiropractor, she cannot walk for long without help.
